Our famous “Bara Brith” “Speckled Bread” recipe has been in our family for over 125 years. It is the yeast raised Bara Brith, packed full of the best plump vine fruits and mixed peel in syrup, and gently spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, and finished with a sugar glaze.
It is delicious sliced and smothered in welsh salted butter and/or topped with honey or your favourite preserve. Or it can be toasted to allow the butter to soak in, yummy.
We can even slice your bara brith for you if you require 2 bara brith wrapped beautifully in tissue paper and tied with raffia bows with your personal message.
